Insurance & Financing
Our goal is to make exceptional pediatric dental care accessible and stress-free for every family. We offer flexible payment options, transparent estimates, and personalized scheduling to ensure your child receives the care they need—comfortably and affordably.
How Appointments Are Scheduled
Appointments are reserved exclusively for each patient. We make every effort to schedule your child’s visit at a convenient time and when they’ll feel their best. For many children, especially preschoolers, morning appointments work best—they’re more alert, relaxed, and responsive early in the day. Older children who require longer or more detailed visits often do best during morning hours as well.
Dental appointments are considered excused absences from school, and we’ll provide any documentation needed. Regular visits help minimize missed classroom time by preventing unexpected dental issues later.
If you’re unable to keep a scheduled appointment, please notify our office at least 24 hours in advance. This allows us to offer the time to another child in need of care. We understand that emergencies happen—thank you for giving us as much notice as possible.
Parents in the Treatment Area
We warmly welcome parents to accompany their child during the first visit to help them feel comfortable and confident. During future visits, most children respond best when they’re able to interact directly with our team—this helps build trust and independence. However, you’re always welcome to join if your child prefers extra reassurance.
For safety and privacy reasons, children who are not scheduled for treatment should remain in the reception area with a supervising adult.
Financial Policy
Payment for professional services is due at the time treatment is provided. Our team will work with you to create a care plan that fits both your child’s dental needs and your family’s budget. We accept:
- Cash and personal checks
- Debit cards
- Most major credit cards
We’ll review estimated costs before treatment begins and discuss available payment options whenever needed.
Dental Insurance
If we receive your insurance information on or before your appointment day, our office will gladly file your claim electronically as a courtesy. Electronic filing ensures that your insurance company receives the claim within a few days of treatment. Most insurers are required by law to process and pay claims within 30 days.
Please remember that your insurance policy is a contract between you and your insurance company. While we’re happy to help estimate your benefits, we do not have a direct contract with your insurer. Any amount not covered by your plan will be collected at the time of service.
We’re committed to helping you understand your coverage and maximize your benefits, but we cannot guarantee exact insurance payments or be responsible for delays or denials from your insurance carrier.
Summary: We file dental insurance claims as a courtesy. You are responsible for all fees not covered by insurance after 30 days, whether or not the insurer has paid. Please contact our team if you need help understanding your benefits—we’re always happy to help.
